I went through that dilema myself and ended up with MLRD-16 and MOA knobs. The friggin' long range simulator trained me so well that it was a step back for me, plus every one talks MOA when adjusting for trajectory here in NA.
like i said earlier to the OP .. pick what you're comfortable using.
here in NZ we are brought up on the decimal system of meaurement
so when a shooter says that they function on milrads its almost a relief, because cm's are an easier unit for us to guage than inches.
we generally have to adapt to inches because 99% of scopes are in MOA
