Moa?

a meter is 3.39 inches longer than a yard, but probably interchangeable for our purposes- add .003 inch if you need to be precise- if you can shoot thousandths of an inch you're better than i

Moa

Hi,
1 MOA @ 100 yards = 1.047 inches

1 MOA @ 100 meters = 1.145 inches

1 MOA @ 1000 yards = 10.47 inches

1 MOA @ 1000 metres = 11.45 inches

For practical purposes there is no real difference. There is only approximately 1" difference at a kilometre. I wouldn't worry too much about that considering I haven't seen any lasers for sale lately.

Geeze, I thought 1 yard was 36" or 1m = 39.37"....memory must have mixed up the numbers.. CRS I guess.

Thanks guys. I just wasn't sure because I normally use meters when ranging and was just unsure about ranging with a TMR (if using meters would really matter).

yard is 36 inches, meter is 39.37 that hasn't changed

This is one thing that bugs me about the imperial system - the math is unecessarily hard.

Go metric all the way..

1 mil = 10 cm @100 meters
1 mil = 20 cm @200 meters
1 mil = 30 cm @300 meters
...
1 mil = 1 meter @1000 meters

..work nice with mil-dot scopes
