I have this Mod 37 and it is in 20 guage with a 26 inch barrel and ipc ,I have been told on Shotgun World that this is the hoily grail of quail and upland birds. I am going to take this to the gun show Sunday and think it is worth 400.00 !

What say you it's 95% and a 1954 model !

I assume you are talking about the Ithaca M-37 and not the Winchester M-37. I just checked the Blue Book and there are so may grades of this gun (4 pages of varients) that is is pretty hard to give a estimated value without a bit more information. In 90% condition these guns run from $175-$800, (naturally this does not include the high grade guns that run up to $5K) but the M-37 Featherlight Standard in 16 & 20 ga shows 25% more value than a 12.

Sorry cub I walked around with it and a Marlin 410 for about 1/2 hour with about 20 people wanting to finger the Marlin! Everybody was saying I've never seen one before and such!

Finnaly one old dude (older than me) said I don't have the cash for it but you can take some of my guns for it! The Marlin finally got 400 cash and 560 in trade! I was offered 350 for the Ithica 37 ,but since it was the only mod 37 at the gun show with good wood,I kept it!

I really hated to get rid of the Marlin (as rare as they are) but the guy almost busted a gut to get it (and his grandson had it in his meaty paws and was jacking the heck out of the lever) my grandsons are 4 years old and 8 months old!

This old Marlin lever wll get some action(instead of just sitting in my safe taking up room) and I got my money back and then some!

Sorry I know you was just jacking with me! Bob :)
