You do have an old Cooey 64! In very nice shape incidentally. Yours is the first version that used a plastic magazine. These were phased out, and all later Cooeys, Winchester Cooeys, Lakefields and Savages use an injection moulded metal magazine. The current production Savage versions are slightly different from the earlier metal magazines, but will interchange. OK, back to your 64. You have a bit of a problem. The magazine you need has not been made for many years. You might be able to find one. Your other option is to install a new version magazine housing with latch, and convert to the new metal magazines. This is a common conversion, to enable current production magazines to be used. It would be worth asking Western Gun Parts, Epps, etc. I might have a magazine housing; will have a look.
