I put a hogue on mine to accomodate a .920 barrel. Everything needs to be inletted forward, towards the muzzle. Needs to be approx. 3/8". I can't think that it would be that hard to do. The hogue is exactly the same as the regular 10/22, just inletted forward more, and the hole for the bolt that mounts the stock actually looks filled then redrilled. Did you buy the one off the EE with the .17hmr barrel?
