Modding stand during hunt?

I'd like to dress up my deer stand, but can only do it while on my next hunt. Is that wise or foolish?

I just need to add blinds, something to cover my body. I'm not good at sitting still

So i'd be adding something new to the environment... would that just spook the deer that come in for their carrots?

I would do it after the hunt is over.... bring the items with you and leave them at the base of your tree then put them up after your sit is done..... making a bunch of noise and movement when you hunt is never a good idea....

It may or may not spook them. Hard to say. You might want to do it when you're leaving so it's ready for next time. I don't like to set anything up any closer than a couple of weeks before season.
