Anyone have one? I'm thinking of picking one up tomorrow in 223.

I like them. They are great for sitting down and shooting. They to heavy if you are getting in and out of a vehicle or walking around. My 204 now wears a 6mmBR barrel.

Savage has the advantage of being able to change out the bolt head so you can use the same bolt for many different cartridges.

Changing the bolt head takes about 1 minute.

I had no idea. Learn something new every day. I'm getting closer and closer to buying one of these things. I've yet to hear of an poor shooting savage.....in any configuration. The new 6.5-284 Fclass rig seems like a real bargain.

I have one in 204 and love it. First one had an issue and took it back. Second one rocks!!! Only seems to like the Sierra bullets though. Using 32gr.

got one in .223, great value, love it! A little heavy but a great shooter.

All they had was a single shot 08 model so I ended up buying a SPS Varmint instead. Now I need a to find a nice stock and a barrell with a faster twist.
