Does anyone know if the plates that come with the glock 17 gen 4 MOS will accomodate the vortex family of red dot.
Yes, I know what they advertise; but sometimes there is compatability in mounting systems.

Yes there is one that will fit either the Viper or Venom (same setup). I don't remember which plate but internet says plate 01 from my Google search now. Bottom line is I can confirm that I mounted my Viper on it. And just like this links says: https://www.glockforum.com/threads/vortex-venom-glock-mos-m3-screw-bolt-comparison.48312/ get slightly 1mm longer screw. If you just mount it on the plate and not mount plate on the gun you should see that there is still a bit of room with the screw came with the plates... and 7mm seems too long so get the 6mm as suggested by the post.

If the gun comes with a "Doctor" plate you are good to go.

Should be the 01 plate, which is the same for Doctor, Burris, Vemon.

MOS comes with the right Vortex plate, but you need to email Votex Canada. They will send you the right
screws to mount it

I went to a RC shop and got M3x6 and M3X8. Had to replace the screws on my cover plate.

IIRC I got my screws from Home Depot or something like that.
