What I am looking for is photos of the cocking piece / sear on a model 1903 Ross rifle. I have the complete gun excepted that the firing pin, mainspring and its retainer and the piece that holds the firing pin in the cocked position are all missing. The firing pin and the spring retainer were easy to make but so far I haven't been able to make the cocking piece in a manner that does not jam the gun.
Worth mentioning that the bolt on the 1903 is quite different from the 1905 model although it works on the same principle
