Just got this old rifle. Does anyone know who sporterized it? It is still in 30-06. It seems to have been professionally done. I can't find any marks to indicate which company did the work. It has a very nice heft to it.
Parker Hale and BSA come to mind, but I don't know if they worked on these rifles. The butt plate has "SILE" Made in Italy on it.
