Model 29-3 barrel replacement

Friend of mine has a 29-3 and one of his rounds didn't get enough powder in it and it lodged in the barrel and of course he pulled the trigger again. Now there is a bulge that looks like a snake is trying to eat a mouse or something. These were light 44 special loads so no damage to the revolver other than the barrel. Is it possible to get another barrel or does he have to go thru hoops unlimited to get one sent from the states. Is there anyone in Canada that would have a replacement barrel? Thanks.
 
A company here, close to Victoria is a S & W warranty depot and can supply and install a new barrel. They deal directly with S & W.

Also try Wortner Gun Works in Chatham Ontario. I believe they are also a reconized S&W warranty outlet. I don't have their address handy but I could get it if you need it (PM me).
