id like to know what every one think about the model 52 good and bad and would it be worth buying one

These units are amongt the most accurate semi-auto's ever made.
Recoil is easily managed, even by rookies,...
The only issue is that these units haven't been manufactured for awhile and
finding a low round count or well maintained unit can be challenging.
They use HBWC ammo...and can be fussy about what you feed them..
I couldn't get mine to 'digest' the Sellier and Bellot fodder...
Black Hills offers this load...I'll have to get P&D to send me some...
If you can find one at a reasonable price ($800 rough to $1200 mint), then
buy it...and amaze yourself and your buddies...Hey, I can actually shoot!:D

I have a 52-2 and it is good for testing how well you really shoot since they are extremely accurate and shooter friendly due to light recoil. I reload 148 gr hollow base wadcutters seated flush in the case with a slight taper crimp and have no problems with feeding.

After post below, edited to add Smith and Wesson Model 52-2 in my post.

In that case, unless it's a rusted piece of junk.
BUY IT!
But prepare to be humbled, normally they shoot so well, that there is nothing to blame, but the shooter.

Every serious taget pistol shooter should have one.
When you master it in timed and rapid-fire, you are very good.
