have one coming up for sale and was wondering what it was worth, good shape and has serial number is one hindred thirty three thousand vintage,think ts a 1948 model ?can send pics if needed,rear sight has been removed for scope and i dont have it , few dings in wood and blueing looks original

In 1948 were they being factory drilled and tapped for scopes?

The only way to determine a price on such a firearm is with very detailed pictures or to see it in person. The price on such a rifle can vary widely depending on how original it is. Any modifications or refinishing can drastically effect the price.

Thats what everyone says. But unless you know what to look for it is hard to tell.
 
you have a decent pre 64 in a sought after calibre. I wouldn't take less then $750. Of course pics are very valuable in determining price but don't let it go too cheap. I promise somebody on here is looking for that very rifle right now.
