model 700 vls rem. .204 ruger..trigger

i have a 700 .204 ruger and would like to know if the factory trigger can be adjusted in any way.it's too heavy a break and not crisp enough for this cal.i realize these factory triggers are not the best,but what can i do just short of bringing it to a gunsmith.

Spend $25 and get a gunsmith to tune it for you. At least you will know it is as good as it can get and still be safe.

Or buy an aftermarket trigger for it.
