Model 870™ Express® Synthetic with 7–round capacity

Can the Model 870™ Express® Synthetic with 7–round capacity double as a good hunting slug gun? Is it accurate enough for that without having a rifled barrel and <18” fixed Cylinder choke>?

Is ammo capacity increased with the use of 2 3/4 shells? Its 7 rounds with one in the chamber or 7+1?

7+1 mean : 7 rounds in mag, 1 in chamber (with 2 3/4 shell...)

This is not a sniper rifle. but at 100yard you will have no problem hitting a deer with a slug.

It, will work best accuracy with rifled slugs is normally through an Improved Cylinder choke tho. but every gun/ slug is different.

But for hunting you would have to plug it to 2+1 and with that extension on it you'd have a hard time.

Ive got that exact model and with a halo red dot sight I get 6 inch groups at 100 meters. I'm sure if I had magnification I could get them tighter. it'll do the job, its 6+1 2 3/4 or 3
