Model 870 Tac-14

I suppose this is Remington's answer to the Mossberg Shockwave? Based on that I'd expect it to be classed the same way as the Shockwave, assuming the Shockwave gets imported.

I'd actually be interested in one of these for another shorty build. We can add stocks to these and keep the NR status. With Remington 14" barrels being more scarce these days this model could be a good option for folks wanting a short shotgun.

So approximately $600 CAD + tax shipping ~$650 depending where you live.

I've made one for far less

NIB 870 off the EE = $400 shipped
14" Rem barrel + $250 shipped (from a seller who isn't gouging)
Sell barrel and stock set - $220
Buy MOE foreend and raptor grip + $120

Grand total $550

Saved $100 :)

You can make a regular stocked 14" for under $500 if you play it smart.

It's funny how the definition of gouging changes - I bought my last 14 inch barrel from Wolverine for $169 when the last big batch came in.

Even funnier that it has been announced that this was a one time deal, the US has stated no more of these allowed to be exported, and the US retail is about $200...$273 Canadian for those who have trouble with math...not to mention export fees, taxes and shipping.

Look at you selling a Tasco Silver Antler scope for $150 and calling folks gougers lol. Overstock.com is selling them for 29 bucks.

Brand new unfired 870 for $400 shipped? Of course anything is possible if someone has 6 months or a year to wait.

Factory barrel and stock selling for $220 on the EE? Plus shipping? ... good luck.

The mounts are worth more than the scope... yeah. I have to adjust that price. No biggy.

Getting $220 for a barrel and stock are easy if you don't buy the cheap plastic. Laminate and hardwood stocks are an easy $80-100.

I have patience. I can wait for a deal.

... you like to argue. How's that 870 Police *cough* express stock going for ya?

I like to argue? I'm not the EE price police sending pm's to folks regarding their unfair pricing trying to justify your unrealistic lowball offers. There's so many great deals to be had, if don't like the price, move on to the next ad. Those that live in glass houses...

I moved on. I offered a fair price, you didn't budge so I gave my money to someone else who did. A fair market price isn't a low-ball offer.

Back on topic... when are these hitting the shelves?
