Model 870 TAC Desert Recon

I just bought one like this and it has that special ported Tactical Extended Rem Choke tube. Is it only for slugs or I can use it with shot shells??

It makes me laugh - recon in a wide open desert with a "tactical" shotgun that is effective for 15 yards? May as well call in jungle silent ninja for the green version.

oh ya, the choke is for everything... I've put every type of ammunition down mine without a problem...
