Model 94 nickelsteel worth

I have an old win pre 64 model 94 nickelsteel in 32 special. I believe it's around 1925 vintage give or take. It appears original with some marks and a couple drill holes in the side of the receiver that I understand was for a sight mount. it cycles and shoots well and has no rust or cracks and bluing is very good. i would rate it VG condition all day long but was wondering about its worth. I'm thinking its in the 300-400 range but wanted to get opinions on 94 experts who know about the nickelsteel offering. Any info on this particular model would be appreciated. Thanks a lot.

If you have holes in the receiver (factory made) it is not 1925 vintage, but done after by someone. Therefore collector value greatly effected. Still a great rifle but without photos hard to evaluate.

The holes are not factory...they were done later. Pretty sure of the vintage

I would think you are correct in your $400 range assessment. The drilled receiver really wallops collector value hard. It will make a great shooter though.
