i have a 64 model 94 with a buckhorn rear sight (stock). i purchased the gun about 6 months ago and the rear sight was way off to the left.. no big deal i used a brass punch and hammer and put it back to center. i sight in the gun and shoot about 15 rounds threw it and it seems to always want to creep back to that same spot. i have tried to compress the (clamp) on the rear of the sight to make it clamp harder but that does not seem to help much because slowly it always creeps back to the left. i am loosing confidence in this rear sight now and i would like to maybe try somthing new maybe even a peep sight... anyone out there using a peep on there 94's?? if so what kind and how do you like it? thanks

A peep is the best type of sight to use on a lever gun, especially top eject models like the 94. I hate the buckhorn style, and find it hard to do good shooting with them. I used Williams foolproof sights on mine and my brother's 94's. They're light, compact and easy to adjust. You'll need a small screwdriver plus a jewelers screwdriver for the lock screws. I take the target insert out and put it away somewhere where it won't get lost; they just slow you down and you don't need them for hunting.

My pre '64 and my brother's post '64 model 94's.;

Can you get those williams sites in Canada? I have seen them on some US sites. Any Canadian sites that carry williams products seen to have very limited stock
