Coincidentally, I had a fella also give me an H&R 999 9 shot .22lr wheelgun once. With them were two C prefix 4 digit serial number Colt Government model's, too. Same price as you paid. :cool:

The 999 had a brutal double action but single action was crisp & it was pretty accurate.

The MkII Ruger is a nice pistol, too!

Story is..a good friend of mine was asked by the widow of one of his neighbours if he would look after disposing of them. Selling them preferably. She ended up giving them to him for his help after her husband passed away.
He doesn't have his rpal and wasn't interested in getting it just to keep them.
So..here they are. I have an H&R model 950 and it is a great plinker and one of the loudest revolvers I've ever shot. lol

Last month or so, at one of switzers auction , there was a couple speed loaders for that revolver, they are good guns, Just don't have the big name on them.

I read online about speed loaders for them. didn't even know such a thing existed for rim fire. :)
