I have a Parker Hale in 243 that I'm trying to get a model number on. Took the stock off and no more info under the wood. What kind is the fore stock? Beavertail? No sights. Not sure if they were removed or didn't come with them. Three holes for the front sight and the grove for the rear one. Had another PH in 30.06 and it was way different than this one.
Thanks
Clint

The one I'm working on has a stock so very similar to yours, with P H stamps in a couple of places but the barrel is stamped CIL model # 972-C, so I don't know if I'm helping or not....another CGN'r put me on to these guys....it may help

The 972 was built by PH for C.I.L., but does it have a floor plate like the picture, or does it have a detachable magazine?
The ""C" usually designated a detachable magazine or "clip" as savage called it.

After a few hours of google, I found an identical picture of one owned by a guy in England. He's says a 1100 Deluxe based on an old PH catalog he owns. Agreeing on that based on a 22'' barrel from a trader's guide. I thought there would be more PH's around but of search of CGN's only had a few entries.
Thanks for the help

Was working on an identical one of these today. Beavertail forend and detachable mag. Marked CIL, but I know it as a Parker Hale. I call them 1200 C as it has the detachable "clip".
