Where does this spring go ?
It launched into space when I knocked out the
Two pins that hold the trigger in

lol 😂 why u got it out ?
I installed a Triggertech, but the sear seems to be pinched and the safety checks I performed after installation failed.
The safety on the new trigger did not perform correctly.
It seemed tight going into the reciever, the trigger tech unit measures a few thou thicker than the factory unit and speaking with customer support because it was tight going in there could be internal pressure on the trigger internals.

The trigger is on its way to TriggerTech for evaluation.

OP,
When reinstalling the OEM Rem Seven X Mark trigger group, make sure the sear/safety bar coil spring is positioned correctly.
hint-
the sear spring wants to fall down under the sear/safety bar when swinging the trigger housing up into the receiver.

I used to make short slave pins from 1/8" brass stock... had a box full at one time. Triggers mailed to me always went home with a set installed.

Just to understand , a slave pin is the same width as the trigger housing to keep it together during installation and then the front and rear trigger pins drive out the slave pins when being installed.

Is that correct ?

Here is the tool I use to cut short 700 trigger slave pins
made from a small side cutter
line up the grind mark

insert the brass stock
tap it down, there are stops for the correct length on the bottom side

then I use a light hammer and with one handle on the desk top tap the other handle closed
thus cutting off the correct length of brass stock
