Here are a few current (and past, but still recent) rifles that I'm aware of with tang safeties:

- Steyr Safebolt SBS and Scout

- current production Winchester (Miroku) lever actions

- Savage Axis and several of their other bolt actions

- Sauer 90 (and likely other Sauers)

Those are off the top of my head. Being left handed (but shooting right), I've always been keen on ambidextrous controls, and the tang safety is one of my favourites --- I like it on my Browning BPS. My personal favourite safety is still the halfcock on my Marlin lever action rifles, for similar reasons to the tang safeties.

I've always liked tang safeties...but I don't think that right now I have a rifle with one.

The earlier Ruger 77s have a tang safety, still frequently seen on the EE.

I have a few tang safety Ruger M77's left in the safe... but in general, I prefer the MKII with 3-Position safety.

I'm of the oppinion that the only safety that's truly appropriate for my style of hunting is one that blocks the striker from falling. This can be accomplished in many ways, including with a tang safety, but if the striker isn't blocked I concider the safety innapropriate for my use.

Yup, my go to. The crossbolt safety behind the trigger is the worst thing for a lefty, often gets pushed on under recoil. All of mine have been reversed (where able to do so) or removed entirely. Long live the tang safety.
