Modern sporter build

Hi all
Started my Modern Sporter build. Super easy, very impressed with the quality. Used BCM for my LPK and Furnitire. My first build went off without a hitch. Now to wait on the upper. I’ll post the upper build and range stats once it’s all said and done.

Part 2. Upper arrived few days ago. All done. No issues.


Build list is as follows
Atrs MS upper and lower
Bcg, buffer and assembly is Stag
Lpk, grip , stick, qd end plate is Bravo Company
Handguard is Troy 15” Vtac Alpha
Barrel is Norc 20” pencil
Brake is Faxon
Front sling mount is Magpul
Charging handle NEA, latch is Badger Ordnance
Mount is Burris PEPR
Optic is Vortex Crossfire 1-4
Total weight with irons is 6.8lb woth optic 8.6

This is some 50 yard shooting woth a 4 power scope. Various cheap and surplus ammo. Anybody have any thought on why looks like keyholing bottom left. That was IMI ammo green tip.

I'm assuming your Norinco barrel is a 1in12 twist?

What is the bullet weight of the ammo that is keyholeing?

You might have to stick with 55gr and under.

Good point it is 1-12. However the middle of the target is 62g also. Shot quiet well. I’ve never had imi group well.

100 yard groups today with various cheap ammo. 4 power scope.
