Modern Stock for SVT40

I was wondering if anyone made a modern stock for a SVT40, like they do for the M14's and M1's? After searching for a while I could not find any.

Something like the Archangel stock for the SKS.

As SVT's are quite rare in the USA, I doubt that Tapco or ProMag will be setting up to make aftermarket stocks.
 
I read somewhere here that someone had insider knowledge of a svt stock project. Thats all I know and that's all the guy was willing to say... I don't know if its a good or bad thing :p
 
Ya I wish that there was a Canadian manufacture of a Vltor stock for this thing. Something made out of fiberglass or carbon fiber that I could have an collapsible AR15 butt stock. Hell even a dragonov style stock would be cool for this old war horse.
 
Not enough damand to justify plastic stocks for odd rifles. In any case, changing the stock might affect the rifle's accuracy.
 
Is there anything comprable that one could modify in order to fit an SVT into it? I like my SVT's, but I've already put a few dings onto the stock of my 'shooter'. It'd be nice to have a plastic alternative that I wouldn't have to worry about getting solvents on or getting scratched up in the bush.
