Aw man, OP; that 38 is DEADLY! Much jealousy from this here Russian milsurp lover! Awesome collection, glad to see a good keeper keeping these gems safe from Bubba's saws and files.

Seeing as you have eight of these beauties I think that may justify my buying at least one for myself sometime in the near future. If she ever questions the purchase I'll just say"well he has eight!"Thanks for sharing :D

With that collection, you are on the road to becoming awarded as 'Honoury Citizen of USSR' (...living in exile of course). Very nice inventory.:)

I've had a good many of these over the years, this os the one I kept as it shot the best of the lot. I also installed an after-market stainless steel gas cylinder and sleeve to assist with corrosive shooting sessions ;)

It's a first year of production Izhevsk from the P&S import 3 or 4 years ago that came out of Germany (and probably Ukraine before that).

You know what you should do, is to hack off the muzzle break with a mini-grinder, then saw through the stock right at the wrist. Then attach it back on with an old hinge scavenged from a barn door or something.
Instant side folder! Tacticool!!:ar15:
