looks pretty interesting but i cant see us canadians be interested in doing some thing similar , simply bcos we can buy a real SVT40 cheaper than than the modification cost.

in the US SVT40 sells for approx $900 due to the importation ban. see not everything is the US is rosy.

I don't understand why ANYONE other than a very serious collector would buy an SVT-40 at 900 dollars. In America you could almost have an AR-10 for the price or an SVD variant for less. Plus you can shoot both of them anywhere.

you dont understand , $900 is the run of the mill , mis-match SVT-40.

collectors pay $2400 for sniper versions , all matching .

Yes, sorry I was looking at the wrong thing. Either way, that much for an SVT-40 is insane.
