modifying a beeman 1041

is there any practical way to increase the velocity of a beeman 1041?
[being aware it must be registered]

I think their American (full power) rating is only about 650fps. I don't think they're built with the potential to shoot much higher than that.

If you're going to increase the power of a non-PAL airgun and register it, it's probably just as easy to get the full power version of the gun.

There's a huge difference between an R1 and a 1040, as the R1 is a rebadged Weirauch.
