Hey all ... question.

Who has put on a .920 BB on their SR22?

And what did you have to do to get the barrel support to fit the barrel?

Grind it or file it?

I am buying a new SR and a Dlask barrel in a couple weeks and I need some info on what to do on this matter.

Another question I have is ... Is there anyway to keep it from bending the receiver block for when you lay the rifle on its side? I am assuming that the barrel support block is there to provide vertical support for when you are on the level aiming it and such. But lying it down, how do you support it then?

Anyone have pictures?

I am also buying the 4 rail kit from Dlask as well. Would the screws act as stops when tightened down to provide support at the 12, 3, 6 & 9 positions?

Any info would be greatly appreciated ... thanks.

I would free float the barrel if I were you.

Otherwise I would just file down the front support. No side support is necessary.

How long is the barrel you're putting on it? A 12" or 16" is pretty common to free float on the 10/22. You might want an adjustable V-block if you're going with the 16" but a 12" .920 barrel should be just fine free floated.

I am buying a 16" Dlask Bull Barrel for my SR project. On it will be attached a Phantom Flash Hider ... so OAL should be about 18"

Flash hider doesn't add to the length of the barrel if that's what you are trying to say.

Just call in at CFC and change the length to under 470 mm, no problem with rimfire.

No, I just worded that wrong ... my bad. I just meant to say that with a flash hider installed, it would make it that much heavier. I am just worried about barrel droop.

You might want an adjustable V-block

I'll have to add that to my parts list just in case. Do you know anywhere in Canada where I can buy one? I checked rimfiresports south of the border and they only have the steel replacement.
