Anyone who has a T-01 mount will know how thin the rail is on it, so only weaver tip off mounts will work. But what if someone machined off the thin rail, and put a standard weaver real on it? would this work? It would probably raise the scope about a 1/4 of an inch, but thats not too bad.
From what i can see, its just a matter of machining off the old rail, drilling and taping a few holes, then screwing the new base on. An experienced machinist should be able to do it. Would this work?
