mods for s&w m&p 9mm?

i am wondering if anyone knows of mods for a smith and wesson m&p 9mm and who sells them? I would like to get a barrel that i can attach a muzzle brake onto and maybe a lighter trigger pull. Maybe some 10 round mags since i can have up to 10 rds in a mag in canada. The 3 originals that came with the gun will only hold 8 max. Send me a personal message if you can list any places for me.

You sure the one's that come with it only hold 8?
 
bowietacticalconcepts.com will show you what can be done, you just need to find a gunsmith in Canada that can do what you want, properly...
Or sell it and get a Ruger SR9, comes with two 10 round mags and an outfit in the US will ship you everything
you need to make it a world class shooter...
 
Every factory magazine I have seen will hold 10. The tenth round takes a bit of a push in some.
I have extended Storm Lake barrels with integral brakes on my M&P and Pro. Like them.
Apex makes different trigger enhancement products.
There are different aftermarket sights. Williams Firesights are readily available green-red-green in either fixed or adjustable flavours.
 
Storm Lake barrel as noted - you can order direct from the website, paperwork gets done by Questar. They also sell ported extended as well as threaded extended. Apex trigger kit, order from Brownells or Dillon (up to $100 per order before shipping is OK). Sights, Brownells has more than anyone. Magazines - they all hold 10 in Canada. Best bet is get an Uplula (universal pistol loader/unloader) your thumbs will thank you - oh yes and leave your mags loaded for a while, it helps.

Is there a lot of Red tape to import Sights from Brownells?
 
Purchase M&P 9 Range Kit for my daughter. Came with Maglula (sp?) loader.
All 3 factory supplied magazines plus the two I purchased from MD Charlton would only hold 9 rounds. With the slide forward it was impossible to insert 3 of the 5 magazines as the follower was bottomed out. After Googling the issue and finding out this is a common occurrence I proceeded to modify the followers per internet instructions.

I now have 5 magazines that will hold 10 rounds and am able to insert them into the gun with the slide forward.

Apex competition trigger - my daughter was struggling with the factory set-up. With the Apex trigger kit she is grouping 5 rounds in the same size circle at 20 yards as she was using the factory trigger at 10 yards. Her strong/weak hand shooting has gone from missing the entire target at 15 yards to 12 inch groups. She can now engage B-Zone plates from 10 yards and hit them 80% of the time - with the factory trigger she was lucky to hit 3 out of 10. During our last session her confidence level went up 300% once she realized it wasn't her but the gun.

What did you do to make it hold 10 rounds? im having the same issue with my magazines

Took me longer to read the instructions. When I was done, I was sure I was missing something. Kept going back through the parts bag and reading the instructions again.....was damn sure I missed something. Nope, I was done.
Some dexterity is needed (you're manipulating small parts) but it's an easy upgrade to complete.

I just trimmed the followers on my 3 mags. I can now load 10 rounds with relative ease and get the loaded mag into the closed gun without banging the crap out of it. Racking the slide on the first round is much easier now.
This fix should be included with the instruction manual IMHO. Just a pain without it.
