Just found this forum.....................:sok2

Buddy wishes to hunt a certain species in our fine province using the ker-twang method.
The provincial hunting regulations specify using an arrow greater than 26 g or 400 grains in weight.

Where in Canada does one find a broad selection of arrows?
He'd prefer aluminum.

Any info I will pass forth.

I used to go to Wholesale Sports but I see they have closed now. Good thing I bought everything needed before they closed their doors... Another place that has really good bow and arrow stock is Jim Bows Archery in Calgary. I got my daughter's Compound Bow from them and they have great service.

Not sure how many places stock aluminum arrows these days as carbon fiber seems to have taken over for the most part but maybe there are some still around.

Any reliable Archery store, avoid Canadian Tire, Walmart type stores. The arrow spine will vary depending on his draw weight and his draw length. Personally the smaller stores are better as they will have the time to fine tune his arrow requirements. Aluminum is getting harder to find all the time, have him explore carbon.
