Mold in amo crate?

Just received my first crate of surplus, but I remember reading about mold in some of the crates. Anyone find any? I found a white powder in the crate, something I am assuming is a desiccant to absorb moisture?

The powder? it was outside the can. There was about a tablespoon of it that I poured onto the ground. I figured it was a remnant of the soldering process or a desiccant. I did not see anything that looked like mold. But that post I read got me thinking.

No, it completely slipped my mind. The Czechs could have been doing some drug smuggling in the ammo. LOL

Yeah forsure,
Put it outside in the rain when you are done with it(the tin can), use it for a butt can. It will start to turn white all over pretty quickly.


Or do like Stevo says and giver a snort test.

So...If the powder gets me high... would you guys buy some? Or do you all have enough ammo crates to supply yourself? I know Canam would have enough to add another category to his site

Newer production and there should be 1200 in the case instead of 1120.
