I have a lee .312 185gr mold but I want to cast for my enfield with a .314 barrel, how could I go about enlarging it,I've heard of people doing it I just dont know how they 1 made it even and 2 how they still had grease grooves

The home shop methods are:
-cast a bullet from the current mould, centre drill and tap it, install a threaded rod, coat it with abrasive and spin it in the cavity. Once the bullet wears out, clean the mould and repeat. If you try to open it up more than a thou or two you will inevitably go out of round.
-put a strip of foil tape or similar on the mould faces so they don't quite close. This will make them larger in one dimension only. Works well if the mould is undersized in that one dimension or only needs to be opened a little.

Google "Los Angeles Silhouette Club"
They have the info you are seeking, and much much more in depth detailed info on advanced mold/casting topics.
Look for "beagleing a mold"

I spent hours on the site researching this very same question just last nite. Am now all set to go.

i did what battle rifle said with regards to casting a bullet and putting abrasive on it.

you could also powder coat the bullet as cast twice and get your desired diameter.

I have found that the best way to fix a mold from making undersize bullets is to just sell it and buy the proper size mold.

Really smart people probably just buy the proper size mold to start with, instead of buying a wrong sized mold and wasting time and money. I learned the hard way, myself.

...and if you think I'm saying this just to be a smartass, you're wrong. Good molds are precious things, but bad molds are worth their weight in scrap metal. Don't waste your time with crap molds.
