Been looking around the web for bullet molds.

On the Midsouth Shooters Supply site they have a note that the mold I am looking at (a .22 caliber one) is- "This item is regulated by the US DEPARTMENT OF COMMERCE and may require an EXPORT LICENSE for international orders."

Something new, or are they just posting that on everything without any real good reason?

WTF, Over?

Didn't think so. Just wondering if I had missed something along the way, or if the US Gov't had sprung another paranoid rule on the world.

Great way to stimulate an economy, all those export regulations, eh?

Thanks, msg.drew,

I can source a new 225438 for about $75. I'd rather buy a used one for less, possibly with a set of handles, etc...

Some of the designs are not really common, and are out of production, the 225107 in particular, and to a lesser extent the 225415. Both are gas checked designs.

If you have a source for a lightweight 22 cal bullet mold, drop me a PM. I am looking to load for a Hornet that I have not put together yet.:)

Well if you can get a 225438 for $75 your doing better then me I can sell one for 87.75 plus shipping and taxes.
225107 doesn't exist at my American supplier
225415 out of stock but its available would be the same price as 225438

If you look into the rules, you will see that all reloading tools and equipment are prohibited from export to Libya, Syria, North Korea and Iran. I think that is why they put that statement there.

WSS, 79.99 plus the gouge. If they have one in stock. That last bit can be the kicker. If they have it, and IF the line-up isn't the standard eighty minute wait....yeesh....

But if I don't have to pay retail...:)

I'll give the used angle a go for a while yet, then start chasing down retail sources.

Thanks for the response!
