I have a 31 cal and soon within the next two weeks a 36 cal
cap & ball pistols. So far,I have only seen the style of molds
that make one mini ball and one conical per pour.

Are there molds for these two calibers that make more than
one of each, say, like six of each type mini ball or conical, or
would that be a custom mold. If so,who makes them?

Please help, I would like to start making projectiles this spring.

Assuming you have lee dies, I checked their website and the best they have is a double cavity mold for round ball.

So a few option are custom mold makers such as accurate molds, mihec (mountain molds), now molds and a few others I can't think of currently.

The other option is to get a second mold that you already have and alternate between the two or even 3 molds for speed. Fill one and while it's cooling fill the second then go back to the first.

The good news about cap and ball revolvers, is that you can only load and shoot so fast.

Then they usually start to bind from fouling after a few cylinders worth of fun.

Makes them easier to feed, as they are not nearly as hungry as a Glock.
