:) I was checking out Ruger22.com and reading a few things about our new Ruger 10/22 Takedown, and the guys
there were just huge on this Moly Fusion stuff. They wrote that you clean your barrel very well, apply this stuff to
it, and it fills in all the pores and imperfections in the metal... making it highly resistant to rust, very slippery so you
can shoot ammo loaded hotter, eliminates flyers the first shot after cleaning, improves accuracy and tightens groups,
and finally makes your barrel stay cleaner a lot longer! Check it out, ruger22.com and shootersolutions.com...and
let me know what you make of this stuff!

Moly has been out for many years., and if it did everything that you mention ,all of the target shooters would be using it. Guess what, that isn't the case at all.

oh, its making its way thru the gun world now? I guess all of the car guys have told them to eff off so they are trying to get another market for their snake oil.

If you haven't tried it, then how can you make judgement on it? This product does what it says in barrels. Just do not put it in the chamber of a centerfire. I have not noticed that it makes barrels shoot any better, but it sure makes them easy to clean. After shooting many rounds, pull a tight patch through and lead flakes will be on that first patch. It is a long process to season a barrel with it. Heat it to about 140-160 F, keep it there, run the product through for about 10-15 minutes, keeping the bore wet. Clean it with a clean patch after it cools, shoot about 50 rounds through it, repeat the process 2 more times. Greg Mason of Rimfire Technologies in the U.S. uses this product on all of his barrels. He started using it on the 17HM2 barrels he builds to help with timing issues related to that particular round. I know a fellow in Calgary that has 2 of his hm2 barrels, absolute tack drivers, as is my 22lr tensioned bbl. Not sure if you can still buy it though, Shooters Solutions site is a little different than it was when I bought mine. If you don't want to use it, don't, but don't make judgements based on hearsay.
