Got to the 1st farm at legal light, called off and on for over an hour with no results even though lots of coyote tracks seen on the way in.
Packed up and went to another farm, given the wind conditions I made the decision to abandon my usual sitting area and cross right through the center field so I could get the wind in my favour and it worked out just as I hoped.
At about the 10 minutes mark had this small female come charging in and almost immediately on top of the call even though I tried to stop her with 3 loud WOLF sounds.
She would not stop, so took the 1st shot at 60 yds (missing) causing her to turn and put the after burners on... 2nd shot was a miss as well. Now she is going super fast, I place the crosshairs one full coyote length in front of her, pull the trigger and to my amazement,(160 yds) she drops
