Pretty amazing, just wish a TV crew weren't the successful hunters. Like to see monsters go to the "little" guys / non-commercial folk.

From what I understand the guy that shot it had a paid crew hunting it all season ... trying to break the world record. So ya ... it is what it is. But I looked into the AZ strip ... either 20 year waiting list or 6 digits for a government tag.

From what I understand the AZ strip is a massive area and even if you get a draw you pretty much have to have a guide. The deer hold up in small areas that are virtually impossible to find due to the vast area.

Again it is what it is ... at least the bucks are not farmed. Hunting there is definitely a rich mans sport.

Beautiful buck... but he had alot of resources working against him... would have liked to been on the ground there with my bow.

Being used to Northern deer, where 160+ is amazing, I have to admit awe at 300+ inches.
