Montreal Motorcycle Works 28g!?

Hi there, talking to a buddy of mine and he has asked me if I have ever heard of a Montreal motorcycle works shotgun? Apparently he has single shot in 28 gauge, it's quite old and in fair condition. Barring all of that he's asking me if I had any idea of its value. Considering it's the first time I've ever heard of this company from 1914 I thought I throw it out there to the more knowledgeable masses of our CGN universe.

I know there's a fair lack of detail but any info on the company or rifle would be appreciated.

Thanks for the input folks. As mentioned he's a buddy of mine, an old guy who doesn't know much about guns. We were having a chat over a couple of beers the other day and he tossed this at me with some questions. Could not find much on the Google machine so I thought I would throw it out there. I will get him to bring it over so that I can get some pictures and post them as soon as I can. Probably take a few days though. Thanks again for all the input. And yeah, as far as the Iver Johnson thing goes.. that's about all I could find. Search engine kept bringing up Iver so probably a connection there. I will get back to the group as soon as I get pictures. All the best.
