Arrived in Montreal few weeks ago. I do not know anybody from shooting fraternity here so I would like to know where are stores and gun shows in this area. Any show next Sunday, August 26? Any dealer you would recommend? I am always looking for Ruger-s, S&W 657, and 22 and 455 Webley-s, especially target models WS and WG (some call them “Green”). Thanks, Onty.

I'm from Montreal south shore. The next gun show is in septembre, I think its septembre 16 in longueuil.
The store you should look for are: Dante on St-Dominique street, Club de tir de Montreal near Cote-De-Liesse highway.

Those 2 are pistol and revolver friendly.

I wouldnt call them "stores" .... most CGN members have more guns then them LOL . And id buy online if u want a better deal . But if u want to deal with a real person when u buy a gun then my pick would be those 2 also . Montreal is a nice and safe place to live but the gun community is small . I only know of 2 pistol ranges : CTVSP and CTM wich i plan to switch to .

dante has the widest selection, not on display but they have a large inventory and there prices are competitive, don't be turned off by the fact that it is tiny and in the back end of a kitchen supplies store.crafm has a nice selection but their prices are a little higher . online can be a solution but shipping is not an issue with a local purchase.by the way i went shooting at crafm today and they have 4 tavor's for sale.

I own 5 handguns. FOUR of them have been purchased online, either from private deals or dealers out of Province. So don't let distance turn you off a purchase.
CFRAM and CTVSP are a bit pricey. Dante has the odd deal now and then. Lots of good deals right here on CGN.

CRAFM seems to have competitive pricing. CTVSP and Dante, not really. That said, every pistol I've bought has been off the EE or online. If there was something I wanted and CRAFM had it in stock I wouldn't hesitate getting it from them.

club de tir pionnier in l'assomption (near repentigny east of montreal about 1/2 hour to 45 mins.) has lots of them "evil" guns.glock,ruger,s&w,... and revolvers.

Thanks to all. I appreciate any lead. I have just "Yellow Pages Montreal West", listed are only Dante, Armrus, Armurerie Du Lac Enr, and Club de Tir Pointe Claire Rifle Club Inc. Also. I would need instructions how to reach the show in Longueuil, I am now at Dorval Ave, just south of H 20. Regards, Onty.

The show in Longueuil isn't until mid September, what do you plan on doing for the next month? Even if you walked, you would be kind of early.

go to crafm.com call frank and get a membership

X2 for CRAFM. Nice place. We still miss KAKO911 but....

As for Dante.... some like them and some don't...

Armurerie du lac is also a good place. Made business with Jack a couple times and I was more than satisfied. He's a member here on CGN (WEIMAJACK)
