moon clips for S&W k frame

Does anyone know if there are moon clips made for the S&W K frame 38/357?

686's are converted to moon clips alot, should be the same stuff for the K frames.

686 is a L-frame with an K-frame grip. Can't use a K-frame speedloader on the model 686 or vice versa.

It's not a cheap convestion and there's no going unless you buy another cylinder.

I haven't looked, but try Ranch Products in the U.S. (Ohio, I think). They produce a lot of different moon clips.

There are a lot of moonclips in the link below for 38/357. However, using moonclips for any wheel gun is not a matter of finding moonclips that will match with the cylinder. The wheel gun has to be designed/built or modified or CONVERTED in order to take moon clips.

If you get moonclips you will have to have the cylinder machined so that the moonclip sits flush with the face of the cylinder. Its not a huge job with the lathe once you have the clips.
