I'd say a .338 win or .340 Wby if grizzlies are an issue, although I don't own either. I use a .45-70 with stiff loads in a Ruger #3, I have had excellent results on black bears and moose with it out to 200 yards.
I'd go with whichever you can shoot most accurately, especially if you have the unlikely possibility of a bear charging you - whether it be a black bear or grizzly.

for real? The way I see it the caliber means nothing but a better question might be to match the bullet to the target and then match the caliber to the bullet.
