Moose hunt results (pics)

I shot this guy on Tuesday in Western Alberta, the guys I was with estimate live weight at 1200 lbs, 47 inch spread, 21 points. The shot was about 250 yards slightly downhill from my 300 win mag with a 168 gr TSX launched at 3200 fps, took out the top of the heart, both lungs and the offside shoulder and the bullet was resting in the skin on the other side. Pretty impressive animal and bullet performance.

your rifle is not stainless. I do not belive it killed anything. we all know non-stainless rifles cannot kill anything.

Q: What handload did you use on the swamp donkey?

My load was 75.5 gr of reloder 22, fed 215 match primer, WW case, 3.544 OAL. The rifle is a Sako AV and the action and magazine is full length 3.6 inches. I have to go way out to get near the rifling, that overall length for me is .020 off the lands.
