- BACK IN Newfoundland and lovin it!!!
so here is the scoop. i have an either ### moose liscence for Newfoundland up in area 2, by far the best region on the ilsand to hunt swamp donkey, but heres the problem, i dont know if i can make it!!!! things have not been great in the last little while for me, i have had a run of sh@t luck!! What i need is a 3rd for my trip, the plan is to leave Oromocto NB either the end of sept, and go for 10 days, or leave the end of Oct and go for 10 days, i have my good buddy who is from there and will act as a guide for the trip, he will be picked up along the way to Newfoundland, he is posted in CFB Greenwood, from there we would continue to NF, up the Great northeren Pen, in seach of the mighty Bullwinkle. Without a 3rd on this trip i dont know if it can be done finacially, all expenses would be 3 ways, all meat would be split 3 ways, I personally would want to keep the Antlers, if it was a trophy size moose, to add to my trophy bear that i have.This is an opportunity of a lifetime for a great hunt, at a great price, the only real expenes are gas,ferry costs, food , beer, buthchering and wrapping of the animal.
There are lots of guys who would love to do this trip, i know it is short notice, but at the same time, i do not want to waste my liscence, as now i am placed in pool 5 and will be a little while before I am drwan again
