Who uses scent when hunting moose? Who has had success with scents? What scent are you using (cow or bull)? Are you using the real deal or synthetic? What brand of scent are you using?

Sorry about all the questions. My supply ran out at the end of last years hunt and I have to pickup some new stuff, and I now I see I can only buy synthetic stuff here in Manitoba so I'm curious what has been effective for other people.
 
I haven't used moose juice yet.....but last year I used some "Hot-Doe" and almost got run over by a small buck!!

This year I'm hunting moose in the rut, so I'm going to lean away from the scents, for the first couple days anyway.

I think for moose, calling is the main thing.
 
Tried some once before and I didnt' get very good results - I think If I would try again I would soak a rag and hang of a branch, random spraying in the bush didn't seem effective :eek:
