That particular moose was on the Boone and Crockett antler watch chart last year ( I think)
The hunter looks about halfway back to the lodge however!!
The rack was a record holder to be sure, and well up in the books.
The problem is that most hunters get behind instead of in front or beside, so you
get the distorted view.

I like to try and get a rifle in the pics, so it can be used to measure against.
One of my friends has a formula for deer rack sizing.
I think it works out to about 10 B&C points for every TWO INCHES AWAY FROM THE PERSON that is holding it!!

What a hodge podge of replies..........one of the moose was taken in Alaska and the last one was in Russia.

Not sure where that little wimpy bear was taken. Damn, I bet it was still sucking on it's mother!
