More Canadian Tire Federal Ammo on Clearance?

As par usual on a Can Tire trip, I stroll by the ammo isle to see if anythings interesting, and They had red tags on the Federal Premium High Velocity Stell 12 Gauge 3" Mag #2 Shot, 25/box, regular price was $24.99, sale price was $11.93, Total savings of $13.06 each. Just a heads up. :D

I don't normally buy birdshot, but I can't resist anything at Can Tire thats more than 1/2 off.

I bought all 8 box's they had in stock.
 
A couple weeks ago I was able to pick up the 15 round winchester slug packs for 7 bucks a box and also got federal .308 power shocks for 10 bucks a box at crappy tire in Barrie...Spent about 100 bucks that day and the look they guy behind the counter gave me while buying all this ammo was worth the money.
 
When the young guy that opened the ammo locker up for me and asked me how many I wanted I said "all of it" He turned and looked and said "what do you need all that ammo for?" I stated (much to my wifes dismay) "Zombie Apocalypse" Though you should have seen my face when he smiled and said "can't be to careful" :)

Which one did you go to?

I was at the Cambie and 5th CT and found, to my dismay, the case that usually has ammo was filled with paintball and airsoft crap.

I guess all the bleeding heart Birkenstock wearers got the best of them.
 
did you vancouver guys notice if the centerfire ammo was red tagged ?? 308/303/223 ect??
gonna hit the one near me tomorrow :D

I was at this store 2 weeks before christmas and they cabinet was packed.

Nothing at the Kingston stores but the Cat Centre store did sell off all the floor model safes at 50% off. They only had one of the little top mount stacker ones left when I left...$50 and only one key.
 
I cleared out most of the clearance stuff at the Mavis/Dundas Location in Mississauga, bought out all their 20g, and 12g, no centre fire's left, someone beat me to it........

Not sure how well the 20g steel shot will do against a zombie hord but only one way to find out.

Hilarious! I'd love to pull the same line on a CT clerk here in Quebec, but I wouldn't even know how to translate ...:p
