It's not a question, just a useless thread but I had to tell someone so who better than my fellow gun nutz

I've had my license for almost 2 months now and so far the collection is at:

1965 winchester 12gauge(inherited)
Remington 870 express 12gauge
1957 bsa 30/06(inherited)
Stoeger .410 dbl coachgun
ruger 10/22
sks 7.62x39
sig P220 .45
M&P 9mm
I've got a ruger .357 on hold and a marlin 30/30 lever on the way

Anybody have any good suggestions for after that? I'm not in a huge city so selection isnt the greatest.
Tks guys and girls

Get yourself a good black rifle. AR or one of the other goodies out there. The above sponsers have plenty to choose from. Give them a call if you don't have much for selection in your home town.

And here I thought that knowone else out there could be a bigger gun nut than me out of the starting gates. I too have gone " Gun Nuts " I have purchased since recieving my liscence about three months ago the following.

Ruger 77 Hawkeye 30/06 left handed
Ruger 10/22
NEF .410 shotgun
Remington 870 Express 12Ga left handed
Puma 357 magnum lever action ( all stainless)
Lee Enfield No4 Mk 1 ( all original military )
Globe 303 ( sporterized enfield )
2x Parker Hale 303 ( sporterized Enfields )
Stag Arms AR-15 2L ( lefty )
Glock 17 9mm handgun
Steyr M-9A1 9mm handgun

and more on the way, almost bought 5 more 303's on the weekend.

If i were to make any suggestions I would say find a milsurplus gun you really like and collect them. I am 100% British 303 all the way but intend to buy a few different WW2 stuff. I would definitely go out and buy an AR. The more AR's out there the better. A nice precision long range rifle would be a nice addition to a well rounded collection too.

Anyways I hope I have helped you decide that you need to buy more of everything out there.

suggestions

First of all, congratulations on getting your licence.

You can never have too many. Its not up to what others suggest, it is up to what you like and enjoy, and feel good and comfortable shooting.

Personally, I like having some that I collect, while others I enjoy shooting.
BFR 45 70 is both for collecting and shooting. Colt AR15 for collecting. DE 50AEfor collecting. STI's for shooting. 44 Magnum Dan Wesson and Smith & Wesson for shooting.

Congratulations too Sean on your recently getting your PAL. Have fun guys. the more the merrier, and the more we can get into the sport, the better.

Have you tried IPCS and IDPA shooting? (Competition and tactical)

I am actually really looking forward to getting into some competition shooting, tactical and such. Not really sure where to start in B.C. but look forward to the adventure. This is definitely a very addicting hobby thats for sure. Its been even better lately because my girlfriend is getting right into it.

I agree the more the better wether its more people in the hobby or people buying more and more guns. We need to support this hobby as much as we can.

Keep going, you are no where near the winner so far on this site....:D

That sounds like a challenge to me. ;)

I accept. :D

I am soooooooo hooked on .303's I plan on owning atleast 20 by the end of the year not to mention everything else thats on my list of too buy items. Still feel the need for a 50 BMG by the end of the year. Just one of those things you must have for no reason. I'm curious to who on here owns the most. Just so I know how much further I have to go. lol.
