My son shot him yesterday at 10 yards. His first moose. He is 17

Thanks guys. He has become a very good hunter. To date he has 5 deer and now a moose.

The BLR is in 358 Win. A handloaded 225 gr partition at 2380 did the trick. He went down with the shot.

Nice bull, he looks real happy

A neighbour down the street, which is 17 as well just shot his first moose on opening day. I am just waiting for my scope mount to come in and the hunting pressure from the out of towners here for the week to go away then I am going to go try and get one myself for my first time.
